hello there! I'm Monica Roberts!
I am a Creative Designer based in Orlando, FL. I specialize in creative as well as technical design communication within the themed entertainment and hospitality industries.
Most recently, I have worked with renowned themed entertainment companies such as THG Creative and AOA in their Show Set departments, designing and documenting a wide range of project types. I utilize skills such as 3D modeling, digital rendering, graphic design, and interior and show set detailing and documenting that I’ve honed in my professional experience as well as in receiving my MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design in Themed Entertainment Design and my BS in Interior Design from Baylor University. My aspirations as a Creative Designer have taken me on adventures across the country and out of my comfort zone in hopes of finding the places and people that inspire me.
I am a story-teller first and foremost; I seek to create spaces and experiences that transcend the ordinary and fulfill deep-seated wishes for diversion, connection, and inclusion. My goal for any project I undertake is to create emotion-driven, story-centric designs that impart inspiration, shape memories, and convey a sense of belonging for those who experience them.
