During the "Intro to Unreal Engine for Entertainment" class hosted by The Essential Art Department, I ideated and created a model in Unreal Engine depicting an original concept for a dark ride based on the classic 1960s Batman TV and subsequent film. The scene is modeled, textured, lit, rendered and animated in Unreal Engine 5, and includes free-use Quixel and Fab assets. The ride vehicle is a free-use model of the original Batmobile that I modified and textured in Rhino.
The layout of the proposed ride is inspired by the late-great "The Great Movie Ride," a now-defunct dark ride through movie scenes at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, FL.
The logo, ride poster, ride layout, and final pitch deck were created in Adobe Illustrator.
Caveat 1: From a technical standpoint, this design is not perfect, but I had a great time applying my previous 3D and rendering experience to a new program.
Caveat 2: I do not own the rights to "Batman" or any associated licensed property. This project was created for FUN and educational purposes only.

1960S TV SHOW-INSPIRED THEME PARK
Batman, The Ride is one of the featured attractions at a 1960s TV show theme park concept I have been working on. Obviously, completing concepts for all of the areas is a massive undertaking, so I am doing a little bit at a time.
Below is an initial sketch for a proposed layout for the park.
The yellow section represents "real world" shows like Get Smart, Batman, The Munsters, etc. that will be captured in black and white. The purple area features the zany futuristic trends of the 1960s with shows like Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Jetsons, Lost in Space, Jonny Quest, etc. This also marks the transition from "real world" spaces into cartoon lands. And lastly, the green section represents some of the popular cartoons at the time like the Flintstones. I envision this park to be cyclical so the Gillian's Island portion serves as a transition back into the "real world."
I hope to continue developing this concept in the future!
